Hanging censers can be carried about the room, or around a magic circle. They are great for using when you want to take the incense from room to room, as in a house spiritual cleansing, etc. You can just leave it hanging in a stationary position, too. The choice is yours. This brass thurible censer hangs on 3 chains, about 9 inches long. The incense burner is just over 3 inches across and 4.5 Inches tall with the cover on. The incense burner has little star cutouts on the lid that allow the air to move about freely. This hanging brass incense burner is great for burning charcoal w/herbs, resins, or powders, or you can use it for cones. Review: Works amazing - It feels like a really fancy and pretty way to burn incense... I use it for incense cones and it's perfect.. I'm so happy with it.. I would say I wish the chains where longer 😅 Review: Good incense burner if you know what it is - Hey folks, seen a lot of reviews for this thing, I feel like there's a needed perspective here. This is a fine hanging incense burner, it's actually pretty large, and neatly sturdy. I would not recommend burning charcoal with the lid on, the air flow seems unlikely to be enough, but it'll do just fine with a cone or similar. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT A THURIBLE. Judging from the other reviews it seems to me that a lot of people have purchased this with the assumption that it is a thurible, a priest's chain incense burner used in Christian ritual, which are dramatic looking and have become popular in home use. There's even an answered question implying it is. It is not. Its delicate little chains will hold it up just fine to being hung from a bracket, but they will snap like noodles if it's swung around. If that's what you want, do yourself a favor and buy a small one-chain thurible, a cheap one is about $ 80-120 depending on who makes it. This is not the product for that. If you ARE looking for a stationary hanging incense burner, this is a great piece and wonderful for the price. ## Features - Traditional Hanging Censer Design: Elegant 6-inch high hanging charcoal incense burner for use in prayer corners, altars, yoga studios, and meditation spaces - Secure Hanging Chain & Bail: Comes with strong metal chains and a top loop so it can be hung from a wall bracket, ceiling hook, or simply placed on a heat-resistant surface - Versatile Use for Home & Ritual: Suitable for spiritual cleansing, smudging, temple ceremonies, home aromatherapy, and creating a calming ambiance in any room - Compact Yet Room-Filling Scent: Medium 6-inch size balances portability and burn time for small to medium-sized spaces without overpowering the area - Compatible with Multiple Incense Types: Works with charcoal tablets, resin incense, frankincense, myrrh, and other loose herbs for meditation, prayer, and aromatherapy sessions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001E0VDI8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,783,265 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #6,161 in Incense Holders | | Brand | ACCESORIES - BRASS BURNER | | Colour | yellow brass | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,827 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Brass | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00066514110802 | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 8.9L x 8.9W x 11.4Th Centimeters | | Item Highlight | 4.5" H | | Item Type Name | brass | | Item Weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Manufacturer | India | | Manufacturer Part Number | BRB5HG | | Material | Brass | | Model number | BRB5HG | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 8.9L x 8.9W x 11.4Th Centimeters | | Shape | Conical | | UPC | 766008449691 066514110802 066511967683 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Accessories - Brass Burners - **Colour:** yellow brass - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00066514110802 - **Item Weight:** 0.5 Pounds - **Manufacturer:** India - **Material:** Brass - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Product Dimensions:** 8.9L x 8.9W x 11.4Th Centimeters - **Shape:** Conical - **UPC:** 766008449691 066514110802 066511967683 ## Images ![Accessories - Brass Burners Hanging Censer/Charcoal Incense Burner, 4.5" H - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51mSPotXQRL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can I use the resin only or do I need to have the charcoal too?** A: I put a fancier 7 inch brass burner in the middle of a small 1lb tank propane table top fire pit and on low the brass warms up just enough to activate the resin. Fills the home with a beautiful scent and the flickering flames off the shiny brass looks mystical. There are other ways of warming the resin besides charcoal. Not every charcoal burns properly, sometimes not at all I noticed. Out of a box of about 50, I had about 15 that lit but didn't burn, just went right out. **Q: is this a good therible to use during a mass** A: Nope. Too Small. Mine hangs next to my fireplace. **Q: How can I install and use the brass burner censer** A: The burner has a ring for you to hang. The top of the burner lifts so you can add the charcoal tab and incense. **Q: if you swing this will the top fall off?** A: I've never had any issues w/top falling off when gently swinging back this product is great it's a nice solid weight... ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works amazing *by C***D on 4 January 2024* It feels like a really fancy and pretty way to burn incense...
