Review: Excellent lock. - Yes, it weighs a bit, but if you have a small enough waistline (mine is 28in, the chain is 32in), then you can transport it that way, or wrap it around your seatpost (this is the way I carry mine). Honestly it doesn't weigh much more than my U-Lock though. Anyway, I live in LA and this is great for when you need to make a few stops and leave your bike for a couple hours or so. At night, I store my bike in my home, so I don't worry about having to leave it out overnight. But I have been to more sketchy areas and left my bike locked with this lock, and I can say that as long as you know what you are doing, you will be fine with this lock. I make sure to wrap it through my frame and wheel and then tie it before actually locking it. As far as locking and unlocking, honestly it's not that hard. I saw others complaining that their keys get stuck, etc etc. It says right there on the little attention label attached with the keys that you need to make sure the key is inserted to the bottom of the cylinder before turning it. Nothing too complicated about that. I was able to get in and out of the lock with no issues. If it tends to get stuck, you could also probably put a drop of lube in it and it should be fine. That's what I do to my older U-lock (that I also use in conjunction with this lock for my back tire. I feel so much more comfortable locking my bike and leaving it to shop or do whatever I'm going to do. I don't get any sense that my bike is going to be gone when I get back. I do see other people with much nicer-looking bikes who do really poor jobs at locking them up, and it saddens me, because I know that if a thief had to choose between my bike and that person's, they'd choose theirs based on how poorly it's secured. Kryptonite has really good information on their site about locking and securing your bike. Not to mention, they will even suggest what type of lock(s) you should get based on the type of area you live in, things like that. There is so much good information out there on YouTube and places like that. Obviously if a person really wants your bike, they will get it no matter what, but you can do your part to make it as difficult as possible. Put up a good fight. Speaking of fights, this chain also makes very good weapon too, if someone were trying to walk up on you in a dodgy part of town, you could definitely whack'em with this. It's that sturdy and heavy. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. Great lock for the price, and for where I live and tend to go. Wouldn't recommend this one if you live some place like San Francisco or NY though (depending what part). At least not without a second lock of choice. But in most parts of Los Angeles (except maybe Santa Monica or North Hollywood, HUGE theft target areas) with this lock and proper locking technique, you should be fine.

**Q: can i wrap it around both tires? so my tires dont get stolen**
A: What I have seen is if your wheels are removable remove them and lock them and the frame together around a secure object. Also have the chain go through the seat spring and seat. They'll steal the seat too if they can't steal the bike. I guess they're paying you back for not letting them steal your bike. I use the separate lock and a long heavier chain as it is tougher.  I've had too many stolen and they'll steal any bike.

**Q: Does this product have a warranty like the Kryptonite U lock?**

**Q: Is lock getting stuck still an issue? What would I do if it got stuck in a public place, I don't won't to have paranoia about it**
A: I have had my Lock for several Months and Have had No issues with a stuck Locking Mechanism, But i do have a loose lock assembly since the very beginning and its been though many types of weather.

**Q: Is this lock easy to fold up and sore in a bike seat bag?**
A: It does fold up/curl up just fine, but it's big enough that you would need a good-sized bike seat bag for it, such as the one seen using the link below. It's a fairly heavy chain, so it would add a little weight to your ride. As for locking up my bike at my apartment, I've loved it.  I don't take it with me when I'm mountain biking, so I don't ride with it. Yes, it weighs a bit, but if you have a small enough waistline (mine is 28in, the chain is 32in), then you can transport it that way, or wrap it around your seatpost (this is the way I carry mine). 重くて強い感じが良いですね。 ロックは軽い＝弱いので重いのは仕方がありません。 でも重くても弱い物もあるなか、クリプトナイトはとても信用ができるので満足しています。 ロードバイクでもクリプトナイトのU字ロックを使っています。 鍵の開け方はクリプトナイト共通みたいですね。途中で回してしまうとクルクルと空回りするので、ズレてしまったら回しながら押し込むと嵌るという感じが同じでした。 それと鍵はロック状態にしないと抜けないのも一緒。チェーンロックとしては、外した状態で鍵が抜けると満足度がかなり上がると思います。 長さは丁度良いと言えば丁度良いし、あと10㎝くらい短い方が良いような気もするけど、まあ、これで良いかという感じです。半端ではあるけど長すぎることはないのでとりあえず満足です。 若干使い勝手は悪いところはありますが、慣れれば大丈夫程度の物なので、お勧めできるロックだと思います。
