Any standard charger slows to a trickle , and will stop at a preset voltage. Your cell phone is a classic example, when it gets to a full charge , the charging circuit limits the current or stopes it till it needs more. Also , if possible , put a battery maintainer on it if it is exposed to cold weather conditions.
