I haven’t used it outdoors but am confident it would be great. (Not sure about the beach). I love this! I was using a flat bed cart but really getting tired of stuff falling off. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of an elevator building with a long hallway to get to the apartment. After the first 3 times of grocery shopping for my parents and the multiple times I had to go up to the apartment with the grocery bags I knew I needed to invest in a cart. All I can say is that this cart is better than I expected. It is very well made, very sturdy, very easy to maneuver, big fat wheels and large enough to hold 6 to 8 large grocery bags or my wife (see attached picture). The other great thing about this cart is that it is very, very easy to fold and to open. Just pull up the handle on the bottom of the cart and it folds right up and I put it in the back of my SUV. Unfolding is just as easy. The side pockets do come in handy for putting in your phone or small objects. I feel that this was a great value and this really helped to solve the grocery problem.
