## Description

HIDBEA window film creates a private and comfortable space for you. Note Paste the type from the indoor. Please do not use it for the rear view mirror of your car. Please do not use it as a mirror although it has a mirror effect. At night when the lighting is brighter inside than outside and you can see in, remember to draw the curtains. Applicable glass type Suitable for all smooth surface (non-bumpy) glass. Not suitable for rough surface and porous surface glass such as wood, tile or glass. Even for the structure of laminated glass and mesh glass, the surface is flat (smooth) and can be used safely. However, in areas exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time (such as the Equatorial region), glass with steel wire or mesh, and Double Glazing and other films with a high heat absorption rate, heat cracking may occur. Please understand. Product Description 1. This window film is made of imported materials from Europe and America, healthy PET material, thicker than ordinary PVC material, more durable. 2. UV blocking window film can block UV rays, protect your skin from UV damage, reduce discoloration and aging caused by sunburn on furniture and flooring. 3. Heat control window film makes the room cooler, warmer in winter, and energy efficient. When the sun is strong (summer), it can greatly reduce the sunlight entering from the window, and use the UV barrier film to block the UV rays. In colder periods (winter), it acts as a heat insulator, reflecting infrared rays from the heater on the inside of the room and playing a "secondary role". The insulation film can reflect about 20%~30% of the heat source, making the room warmer and more comfortable. 4. Mirror window film has a unique mirror effect. At daytime, it looks like a mirror from the outside because of the brightness of the outside, and it protects the privacy by seeing the outside from inside. At night, when the interior is bright, you can see the interior from the outside, so you need to draw the curtains indoors at this time. 5. Window glass insulation film is anti-flyaway and has waterproof function. As long as the window film is applied to the window, the window glass will not fly apart even if it breaks. There is no need to worry about damage to important items by flying glass fragments. 6. As a decorative window film, it is fashionable both indoors and outdoors and has a decorative function. During the day, it reflects the clouds and the surrounding scenery like a mirror when viewed from outside. 7. This window film is easy to apply and is very versatile. It is suitable for use in hotels, government institutions, museums, banks, schools, commercial buildings, hospitals, foyers, flats, houses, etc. It can also be used in high rise buildings as it is installed from inside.

Review: Price, performance, ease of install. - Recommend: - Clean your windows. Not just wash and go. Seriously clean them. Run a safety razor over the glass to get any paint or junk bits stuck on it. Use newspaper or similar for the last pass with window cleaner to get any lint off too. Priming the surface is just as important as any other step, if not more. - Fill a spray bottle with clean water. A tiny bit of Dawn can help but I just used water. Spray the window and film once you have the backing off. The place on window. - You do not have a lot of time to work with this once you start the squeegee process so don't dilly dally. Get it done promptly. Nice quick, smooth movements. - Start at the center and do a + sign movement to get to edges then an X sign movement to get corners. Then just start back in the middle and smooth out sections and/or bubbles to even it out. - Air bubbles happen. Lift it up from the edge and smooth it out some more. Small bubbles will either go away in a couple of days or run a hair dryer on low heat over it for a minute or so. - When you're sure you have it where you want take a razor and ruler and trim it. About 1/8" edge of glass showing since this stuff needs room to expand in heat. Good: - Got a large roll at a really good price. The big name version at the local hardware store would have cost twice as much. I see little difference between them in quality. I'd highly recommend. - Easy to cut and move around on the window during install. Windows 1 person can do. For a door 2 would be needed. - Cuts down the heat in the room well while still being able to see clearly out. Silver/Black is what I used. - Looks like silver/chrome from outside during the day, but not obnoxious. Bad: - The squeegee that comes with it is not what you want to use. I used one for installing vinyl on cars. That is a 2-sided that has a hard side and soft side with a velour cover. This allows more pressure only when needed to help with creases and working the peice out to edges. - Creases can be created easily if you try and force it on. This has a metal substrate and that means creases if you get rough with it when it wants to fold. Those creases might not come out after. This is a common problem. - Peeling the backing off can be a pain. Use some masking tape on each peice in 1 corner to get it loose and go really easy removing it evenly from end to end. A second person could be helpful here. - This isn't really bad but just remember that at night or overcast day people can see in your house better than you can see out. It's a complete opposite effect of bright outside day. All the metal ones do this.
Review: Perfect for Letting Light in but Not Nosey Neighbors - Update since I wrote this review: I have had these up for several months now, no issues what so ever. I live in Houston where our windows sometimes sweat, I've had no issues with this film staying on. I can leave my blinds open all day and when I go to bed I just close them. No one can see in but I close them in case someone gets right up to the window and peeks into a crack where I might not have cut the size perfectly. I know a few others have said theirs hasn't stayed on the window. I did clean my windows pretty hastily, but did clean them before putting my film up. Hope this helps. First Review: I just put this up today in one of my windows. I have no idea if it will stay put so check other reviews for that. What I know - it is absolutely what I wanted. It lets so much light in but doesn't show in or out. If I was close to the window, it might show an image but I'd have to be really close. It's plain, mostly opaque, and went up easily. Here are my tips: I didn't have everything to complete the job so I used my pancake spatula instead of a squeegee, I didn't have a box cutter so I made a template ahead of time and used that to trace and cut the exact size I needed. I didn't have a spray bottle so I had a small bottle from Bath and Body Works w a small amount of fragrance left - poured that elsewhere and used that small spray bottle. So, the biggest challenge I had was trying to pull the backing off, it took me a long time with each. When I do the other window, I will peel, then use my template, and I will make sure to leave something small between the backing and the window film (a sticky?) so I don't take five minutes each time trying to separate the back from the film. Hope this helps. I love open windows - live in a downstairs apartment, I will be able to raise the blinds all the way up and no one will be able to see in but I'll have the light!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Any 1 way film to prevent seeing in at night?**
A: Sorry, The privacy of our current window mirror film depends on light intensity, people outside can’t see people inside during daytime due to the strong sunlight outside; when indoor light is stronger than outdoor at nighttime, people outside can see people inside.

**Q: During night, can I see outside from inside?**
A: When the intensity of light outside is greater than inside during the day, one way window film can bring good privacy, you can see outside and people outside can't see in. When the light intensity inside is greater than outside at night, people outside can see inside and you need to close the curtains.

**Q: When it’s dark outside can you see inside when lights are on**
A: Yes,When the inside light is stronger than outside at night, the film CAN NOT provide privacy, and the mirror reflective effect will disappear. Do remember to draw curtain during night.

**Q: How many and which rolls do I need for 3 windows size: 8’10”x6’8” and 7’10”x5’11”**
A: You may want to consider a different product for windows that large or you will end up with seams.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Is not a "mirror" finish.
*by H***L on November 30, 2025*

I clicked "place order" before reading the reviews :( This isn't a terrible product. I like that it is available in 29.5" width and it went up and stayed on the window so far. The 1-star reviews that say it is thicker than other films, and dents easily--true. My main disappointment, it is advertised as having a "mirror effect". It is more like the dull side of the aluminum foil. I had a chance to try Gila brand film on one window. It is thinner, with a much more mirror-like effect and looks nicer, easier to work with, too. It is more expensive. This was my first window film experience. I learned, I'd rather have the nicer mirror effect. I also think the Gila is better for privacy because it actually reflects the image instead of just darkening the view. From outside, when I get close to my window, in daylight, I can still see in. So if your budget is tight, this is a good value. If you need better privacy and a nicer mirror appearance, spend a little more.
