I hope this helps. **Q: Is the writing on this clear & easy to read?** A: Yes, it is clear and easy to read. A beautiful map. Tears more easily than expected so we've just put it on the wall. Our purpose was to support 8th grade geography, and it has been great for the big picture. **Q: What type of map projection is this (ie. fuller, winkel tripel, goode homolosine, mercator, and robinson)?** A: Hello, It is van der grinten projection. Kind regards Kate ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Laminated world atlas *by S***I on July 20, 2026* It's just what I was looking for, as I'm working on family genealogy and locations. Absolutely perfect for me! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Totally worth the price! *by M***C on March 17, 2026* Totally awesome map! Perfect size and well made. It doesn't have lamination in the back but that's ok as the front is what gets touched the most. Great fair price and superbly packaged in cardboard tube to protect it during shipping. Great value and I highly recommend it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Missing something *by G***A on February 20, 2024* I bought this map because all countries are clearly labeled and easy to read. My test was the country of Georgia. But when I took a look at the map at home, I was horrified that Wales and Scotland are not labeled at all! I do know the history, and that Wales and Scotland are part of the United Kingdom, but they do still exist with local governments! In fact, they are known as "countries within a country". States are labeled in a USA map, as are Provinces of Canada. I am asking map makers to please show Scotland and Wales on your world maps! ## Frequently Bought Together - Maps International World Wall Map - Map of The World Poster - 23 x 33 - Front Lamination - Outus 500 Pieces Map Push Pins Map Tacks Plastic Round Head Tacks with Steel Points (Multicolor, 1/8 Inch) - Maps International Classic USA Wall Map - Map of The USA Poster - Front Lamination – 24 x 36 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/21024224-maps-international-world-wall-map-map-of-the-world-poster](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/21024224-maps-international-world-wall-map-map-of-the-world-poster) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
