Features 2 rows of 6 contacts (marked with numbers 1...6 and letters A...F), each contact is gold-plated brass, bifurcated for a more reliable signal path. The terminals are SOLDER EYELET, meaning they're designed for soldering to wires (poke wire through eyelet, twist, solder, DONE. It doesn't get any easier!) These connectors can also be soldered to printed-circuit boards if the board was designed for non-right-angle connectors (i.e. if the board is double-sided and non-via'd) The 12-position (24 pin) user port / IEEE-488 connector is also available.
