The order page still shows next day delivery available, very misleading. **Q: do foam handles last?** A: These feel extra good. But any other ones I've had, they've always lasted. For the price I wouldn't be concerned about them lasting less than a few years. **Q: How could they weigh 1.6 lbs each if the package weighs .53kg (1.2 lbs)??? I'm looking for an ultra light bar for travel** A: Yes they are very light perfect for traveling **Q: What's the weight capacity of the bars?** A: I weight 300 and these have me concerned. I used them twice and am ordering a heavier duty set. They didn't break so good on them but I'm thinking the 200-225 range is probably the max safe use. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and can handle a lot of weight even with it's lightweight build. *by A***R on September 26, 2025* Does the job. Well built. It can handle my 250+ weight frame with no issues. It's made up of CVC type of piping material. I like the foam at the bottom when I do pushups from my hardwood floor as it keeps it from slipping. Doing it on a carpet is not has bad, but my office carpet is very short. Not sure if you'll get the same results from a longer carpet. Good value, easy to assemble, get the job done. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small but useful. *by S***S on February 16, 2026* Great little product that provides the ability to fulfill the need for exercise at your pace. You can easily do the push-ups whenever you choose. They take up very little space but do the job, in private. Win - win. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Honest Review: As stated, but beware. *by C***. on April 21, 2026* Pros • It is as stated: plastic, portable, foam handled. • It is strong and I weigh around 170-185 lbs. • The foam grip is comfortable and feels nice, but it still hurts after a while. • No wrist pain during pushups, but it can transfer to hands. I have quite strong pain tolerance so I wouldn't have returned it if it wasn't plastic (which I knew, no surprise. I just changed my mind after buying is all) but for those with low pain tolerance, it will sting a bit after some time. • Design is nice. • Doesn't slip on carpet, not sure about a flat surface. • The plastic is rust resistant, so no worries about mess, metal smells, coloring (on hands), or bacteria. Cons • Since it is plastic, it can eventually crack or bend with time, risking faceplant. • Since the foam grip is the grip style, if you do intense, sweaty workouts, sweat will get in there and trap moisture potentially causing odor with time and intensity. Overall, great product especially due to honesty. If you want to go crazy with these, getting sweaty, hot and all, try stainless steel. Those will not only handle weight, and heat, but also intensity without corrosion or wear. ## Frequently Bought Together - READAEER Push Up Bars Gym Exercise Equipment Fitness 1 Pair Pushup Handles with Cushioned Foam Grip and Non-Slip Sturdy Structure Push Up Bars for Men & Women - RELIFE REBUILD YOUR LIFE Dip Station Functional Heavy Duty Dip Stands Fitness Workout Dip bar Station Stabilizer Parallette Push Up Stand - Ally Peaks Pull Up Bar for Doorway | Thickened Steel Max Limit 440 lbs Upper Body Fitness Workout Bar| Multi-Grip Strength for Doorway | Indoor Chin-Up Bar Fitness Trainer for Home Gym Portable --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/209013363-push-up-bars-gym-exercise-equipment-fitness-1-pair-pushup](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/209013363-push-up-bars-gym-exercise-equipment-fitness-1-pair-pushup) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
