They go through them like butter. I’ve been using them regularly for 5 years now and they are still like new. This morning I had to dive under our boat to cut a crab pot loose from our prop. I initially brought a knife which wouldn’t even begin to cut through the synthetic line they used. Got thee scissors out, swam back down and in a single snip cut through that line multiple times to untangle the prop. I may be giving these as gifts this year to fellow sailors.
