I've read several of her books and Kass and Will are at the top of my favorite couples list but geez, all the angst and heartache!It was fun to see this story unfold from a different perspective than the other Rules books.I can't wait to see how the unexpected twists and turns end up in the next book and if Kass and Will have their happily ever after or if the drama with friends and family and Will's pass Will be too much to salvage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful Love Story *by J***E on July 13, 2020* BEST love story I’ve ever read! I loved back and forth banter begin Will and Kass! Very well written, and the author does an amazing job capturing young love! I read this book on a beach vacation and literally couldn’t put it down!! Great escape from the real world. I’ve read it twice now!! So hoping for a book 2 since we were left with such a cliffhanger!! There is still so many story lines I want to know more about. Like Will’s history with Lyla, and what happened after Will finally told Kendrick about their relationship. Also, thought there could be another series in the making with Morgan and Alex’s budding romance. I thought about reading her other books with Winter and Haze, but I still want more of Kass and Will’s story. Highly recommend this light, funny, and romantic read!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Story! Beware is a cliffy! *by R***L on May 4, 2021* I really got hooked into Will and Kass' story, and had a hard time putting it down at night. I wasn't aware this was book 4, or that it ended in a cliffy, or I would've started with "Unwritten Rules" about Kass' cousin Winter. But I'm still glad I read it.The dialogue is mature, and the characters don't really behave like teenagers, which I really like. But I wasn't surprised since they're written the same way in "Dear Love I Hate You" which you need to read if you haven't.There were a few things that didn't agree with as far as Kass' character goes, but honestly we all make different decisions in life, and that was hers. The first was where she pretty much let her jealous secret boyfriend Will manhandle her male friend, and almost beat him over a misunderstanding. I'm sorry, but if any guy ever did that to one of my friends, we wouldn't be making up seconds later. I don't care what the excuse was. Not Acceptable! But maybe high schoolers would act that way so I took it with a grain of salt.Then there was the scene where she followed Will to a motel because her used to be friend sent her a pic of him leaving a motel and told her he was cheating on her, and he acted like she did something so unforgivable, and made her feel bad. Now keep in mind he's been on again off again to her for a while now. So what's she supposed to think? She let him make her feel like she did something wrong. Like it was so unforgivable for following him. Granted he had a secret he was trying to keep under wraps, and it wasn't another lover, but I'm sorry, that's a definite follow your bf to see what the hell is going on. And he was super pissed, and made her feel like she did something wrong. Even worse, she felt bad like she did something wrong. But she quickly forgave all his macho bs, and leading her on multiple times, prior to this happening. You'll just have to read it to know what I'm talking about.It's definitely worth the read, and I can't wait for the next book to come out. There were just some scenes I didn't really agree with personally. But I don't regret reading it.
