I towed my harley 998 miles, when you turn, the bike would lean left or right but as soon as you go straight the bike would straightened up. It wouldn't swivel on reverse. So if you are towing your bike and need to stop. Make sure you part in a way that you can leave forward. I hope that answers your question **Q: height range for receiver? How high does it lift off the ground?** A: the handle on the side will bring the wheel base down, once you load the bike, push the handle down and it will lift it off the ground. It will come with a pin so it doesn't go back down while towing **Q: how much does it weigh? (without motorcycle)** A: about 20lb if that **Q: Does the tow bar swivel left to right so not to twist the forks on my trike!** A: No it dose not it only holds 800 lbs I think ## Frequently Bought Together - ECOTRIC 800LBS Motorcycle Trailer Hitch Scooter Hauler Mount Rack 2" Motorcycle Tow Carrier Receiver Heavy Duty Steel - MaxxHaul 50023 Hitch Tightener Anti Rattle Stabilizer for 1.25" to 2" Hitches Reduce Movement On Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier Bike Rack - MaxxHaul 80875 Trailer Hitch Extender Adapter, 2" Receiver, 4 inch Rise/Drop, 1-1/4 inch Solid Shank, 9" to 10-1/4" Extension --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/207943793-ecotric-800lbs-motorcycle-trailer-hitch-scooter-hauler-mount-rack](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/207943793-ecotric-800lbs-motorcycle-trailer-hitch-scooter-hauler-mount-rack) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
