Q: does it support Access point client mode?

Not with the shipped firmware. The manufacturer offers it's own variant of OpenWRT firmware and that should work. However I've tried following OpenWRT guides and haven't had success yet. I'm still hopeful; I just haven't had time to get back to it.

Q: What is/are the wireless communication standards supported by this router?

Not sure , but works like a charm. I have had no problems connecting any of our devices.(phones, Roku , tablets ,laptops....)

Q: Can i use a poe injector to provide power to this router? i want to hang it on the ceiling and want to use ethernet to provide power.

Will not work, needs ac adapter provided for power
