Review: Simple and straightforward to assemble, a blessing during summer! - I've bought a few fans over the year and not been satisfied - some were too loud, some were not powerful enough, some broke down fast, however this fan purchase has been the best one so far. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, it took less than 15 mins (if that even). The power of this fan is strong, it somehow feels like it is blowing cold air towards you even during a very hot day (something I found that other fan brands struggled with as they would generate warm air instead). As for noise, I would say despite the size of the fan, it is quieter than other fans I've had. Whilst it is not completely silent, it is soft enough that it just becomes gentle background noise. Best of all, it looks great too! The black finish and the wood effect makes the fan look high quality.

A: You probably drew a short straw and got a faulty one. I've never used it any speed above 1 for long because at 1 it's powerful enough. But I've tried them just to measure the noise and they all work fine.
