It has added plant-based fat to make it really smooth and creamy. Its thicker than the original oatley and usually comes in a smaller container, as a heads up. This isn't what you'd want to use on your cereal. Source: https://www.oatly.com/int/products/oat-drink-barista-edition **Q: $24.99 for a single carton? Is this an error?** A: I work in the coffee industry. Yes this is an error in the terms of greed. Law of supply and demand. If you manage to get in the order cycle window when Oatly releases a supply you get 6 cartons for $25.00. I wish people stop buying it at this overinflated price so that that the supply would be in excess and price would normalize at $4-$5 a carton which is what other barista style milks sell for in the grocery stores. Oatly has even had to limit the amount in an order because of people raising the prices like this. Amazon should do something about it too. At the very most stop allowing sellers to mark up prices no more than 50% the cost which would be $8. I hope Oatly hurries up and get their US production cycle going to where sellers can stop ripping off consumers. If you want close to coffee house latte consistency, the regular Oatly is not the same but you can make it work if you have a good froth machine that can heat the "milks" in a way to decrease separation. Nespresso's new one does pretty well with this. **Q: Do you fave full fat version?** A: The full fat version is 160 calories and 9g of fat. **Q: What are the ingredients?** A: Oat base (water, oats). Contains 2% or less of: low erucic acid rapeseed oil, dipotassium phosphate, calcium carbonate, tricalcium phosphate, sea salt, dicalcium phosphate, riboflavin, vitamin A, vitamin D2, vitamin B12. ## Frequently Bought Together - Oatly Barista Edition Oatmilk, 32 Ounce (12 Pack) - Torani Puremade Sauce, Dark Chocolate, 16.5 Ounces (Pack of 4) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/206910686-oatly-barista-edition-oat-milk-crafted-for-coffee-dairy-free](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/206910686-oatly-barista-edition-oat-milk-crafted-for-coffee-dairy-free) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
