The case for these should be hard for 15 dollars but just be careful with these and they feel like they should last a year or so. I will update if they break for a reason not of my own stupidity in less than a year though and drop more stars. Update: So far these survived 12 days camping in Michigan's U.P Wilderness, had the issue with the clip popping off again and I don't know how much longer they will survive being put back by me but they are still holding up and no scratches or other wear or tear. Update:09/08/2023 I uploaded new pictures these have held up well considering how hard I've been on them. I have had to put them back together like 5 times but everytime they broke was my fault and it's still just a matter of putting the spring legs in then sliding them into position.
