It goes beyond 90 degrees. **Q: How much does it rattle/wiggle when it’s fully loaded while driving on the highway?** A: It doesn’t rattle at all. It has a mechanical wedge that is tightened with a large Allen wrench when the unit is installed in the receiver and the swivel point is a very large bearing that has no play in it.
