## Description

From the manufacturer Cross Bailey Light Wherever entrepreneurship lives, when a vision comes to life, when teamwork builds something great, when an idea is born, plans made or verse perfected, the essence of Cross today lies in the doing. In seeking and finding, in self-expression, in the journey of success that is unique to each individual. Same Bailey Style, New Lightweight Finish Bailey Light is the first of its kind in the Cross collection. Crafted to our exacting standards, the design shares the statement-making appeal and quality performance of the original Cross Bailey metal pen, but it weighs less in glossy resin. To complement the new attitude of this dependable, everyday option, we offer an array of fresh finishes. Lightweight resin design Same quality Cross performance Same statement-making style Cross gift box Click-off cap Exclusive Gel Ink Rollerball formula flows freely like a fountain pen Includes one Black Gel Ink Selectip Rollerball tip (refill #8015) Can easily be converted into a ballpoint pen or creamy porous felt-tip pen by simply changing the refill to the desired type of tip (refills sold separately) Bailey Light Writing Technologies Fountain Pen One of the oldest styles of writing instrument, fountain pen nibs actually adapt to your own personal grip and writing style over time, creating lines on the page that, like your signature, are all your own. Select-tip Rolling Ball A Select-tip allows you to 'select' the kind of refill you want to use in this writing instrument from the following options Gel Rolling Ball: A mix of Ballpoint ease of use and the elegance of Fountain Pen ink-flow Jumbo Ballpoint: Ballpoint technology with a bolder, fuller write-out Porous-Point: Most commonly known as a Flair or Marker Point Ballpoint Pen The Ballpoint is the most popular tip technology and, in many ways, the simplest. A Ballpoint pen uses a small rotating ball made of carbide to disperse ink as you write. This ball acts as a buffer between the material you’re writing on and the ink inside the pen.

Review: GREAT STYLE & QUALITY - Fabulous Pen - Writes beautifully. Thanks :)
Review: Great Value - I had originally purchased a Cross Coventry pen elsewhere for £25 but this is a light version of the next model up, the Bailey. Comparatively, really good value for money, finished in a nice grey colour. A bonus is that it also takes standard Cross refills, so why pay extra? With this you get a decent pen at a very good price and with the Cross refills it'll write as well as more expensive Cross pens. Also worth noting that this pen comes with a fine refill installed as standard rather than the usual medium refill. Similar in thickness to a Pentel 0.5mm so I'd say around 0.3mm line thickness. Not as black as the Pentel ink but rollerballs are usually always darker. This Cross ballpen is better suited to taking notes. No extra refills supplied, just the one it comes with but still very good value. Recommended.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Some entries mention just cross bailey and some say cross bailey light. are these the same or are there two different versions of the bailey?**
A: Cross Bailey light is a new style of the same pen. They’re a resin pen and come in various colours.

**Q: Which refills are suitable for the cross bailey light at0742-6**
A: Cross ballpoint refills

**Q: How do you open up the pen to replace the ink cartridge? And what type of cartridge is recommended? Thanks.**
A: Hi, to replace the cartridge you simply pull off the top of the pen, then unscrew the old cartridge and screw in the new one before putting the top back on. Two new cartridges cost £6.50, I hope this helps?

**Q: What refills do these pens use?**
A: I use Cross refill cartridges, I prefer a medium nib with black ink.
