Works adequately. Good idea , save’s getting lens dirty. Hard to open tho. Lot of effort needed!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Protects the lens well *by I***M on 20 October 2025* This is an excellent accessory that can be left on the camera at nearly all times. The TG-x cameras are incredibly resistant to rough treatment but if like me you carry the camera in the pocket of an outdoor jacket the front lens protecting glass can get very fine scratches over time. I had been in the habit of carrying my TG-5 without any further lens protection and the once-sharp pictures have become soft because of many fine scratches on the lens protecting glass. I have replaced the TG-5 with a TG-7 and now keep this lens cap on the camera whenever I am not using the light guide accessory.
