I searched the local parts stores and suppliers looking for replacement bearings to get the tractor up and running again. I had no luck finding the bearings locally and wound up ordering them through Grainger with a work discount. I ordered this alternator with 2-day Prime shipping. Easy install (take the fan shroud bolts out for easy maneuvering around fan) and a new Dayco belt from Advance Auto Parts, and I was back in business. This unit was less than half what the OEM Kubota was and it's doing great so far. I received the new bearings for the OEM alternator and rebuilt it so I now have a spare on the shelf.
