## Features

- SELF-HEALING - The A0 cutting mat self healing consists of 5 layers of different PVC materials. When an incision is made, the top layers of the green cutting mat contract together to hide the cut and keep the surface flat.
- SUSTAINABLE - The two underlying layers of the Elan cutting mat A0 self healing are made from strong recycled PVC, which reduces the environmental footprint of our product. The middle layer gives the art cutting board craft robustness. To maintain quality, do not bend the large craft mat.
- PROFESSIONAL GRID - Both sides of the extra large cutting mat A0 include a metric patchwork grid. The patterns and text on the large hobby mat are professionally applied, ensuring long-lasting readability.
- COLOUR & SIZE - Elan art mat green has two grid colours. The grid is yellow on one side and white on the other. Elan cutting mats have a metric scale available in sizes 200x100 cm, 150x100cm, A0 (120x90cm), A1 (90x60cm), A2 (60x45cm), A3 (44x30cm), A4 (30x22cm).

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I wash the cutting mat?**
A: Yes, you can wash it with water or with a mix of 3/4 water and 1/4 vinegar. Make sure to remove cloth threads before washing, let the mat dry completely before usage and avoid bending the mat in any part of the process.

**Q: Which grid is on the mats?**
A: Our cutting mats in UK have metric markings on both sides

**Q: How does the self-healing layer work?**
A: The self-healing layer allows most of the cuts in the mat to heal, without leaving significant traces. Thanks to the unique material used in the layers, most of the cuts will be restored.

**Q: Are cutting mats heat resistant?**
A: No, when exposed to too much heat the cutting mat can bend or even melt. This can compromise the effectiveness of the mat for its intended purposes.
