Before ordering, measure the actual hole in your cabinet/door — do NOT measure the old grille you're replacing. A cover must be larger than the hole, so matching the old cover's outer size won't guarantee a fit. - [PREMIUM RUST-PROOF ALUMINUM ALLOY] – Aircraft-grade aluminum resists corrosion, scratches, wear. Built for bathrooms, basements, laundry rooms, outdoor cabinets. - [EASY DIY IN MINUTES — SCREWS INCLUDED] – Pre-drilled holes + mounting screws sized for the 8.5" × 2.4" opening. No drilling, no tools — align to the hole, screw in, enjoy airflow. - [SLEEK, LOW-PROFILE DESIGN] – Slim modern grille hides the opening while ventilating musty closets, shoe cabinets, wardrobes. - [2-PACK VALUE BUNDLE] – Two covers + two screw sets protect two spots (e.g., laundry room + wardrobe). ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B084ZN6PZX | | Best Sellers Rank | #185,895 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #1,090 in Registers, Grilles & Vents | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars (312) | | Date First Available | February 20, 2020 | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight | 4.2 ounces | | Item model number | ZY01071076 | | Manufacturer | Geesatis | | Material | Aluminum Alloy | | Package Dimensions | 12.52 x 4.65 x 0.87 inches | | Part Number | ZY01071076 | | Size | Fits 8.5x2.4" (Cover 9.8x3.1") | ## Images ![Geesatis Black Aluminum Air Vent Cover,Fits 8.5'' x 2.4",2Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71C1raFxztL.jpg) ![Geesatis Black Aluminum Air Vent Cover,Fits 8.5'' x 2.4",2Pack - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41hC2OyEgkL.jpg) ![Geesatis Black Aluminum Air Vent Cover,Fits 8.5'' x 2.4",2Pack - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41AL3U-ArPL.jpg) ![Geesatis Black Aluminum Air Vent Cover,Fits 8.5'' x 2.4",2Pack - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41K-khtMurL.jpg) ![Geesatis Black Aluminum Air Vent Cover,Fits 8.5'' x 2.4",2Pack - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51ed0a2qhRL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the depth of the 350mm x 100mm vent? We have a drawer near it that would make it a close fit.** A: I think it’s about 1/2” deep. You could modify it and cut off the tabs. I modified it by drilling screw holes on the sides of the vent to secure in place. **Q: Can you walk on these?** A: Sure , but they’ll bend **Q: How do you screw these on when the screw holes are on the inside lip?** A: The screws must be fastened from the inside of the cabinet, after the louvers are installed from the outside. If access to the interior isn't available, you could possibly use a small bead of construction adhesive to glue the louvers to the cabinet **Q: Can these be painted?** A: They are metal so they should be. I would scuff up the paint so the new paint will adhere. Spray paint would probably look good. ## Frequently Bought Together - Geesatis 2 Pcs Louvered Ventilation Grille Air Vent for Cabinet Shoe Cabinet Hardware Accessories Ventilation Cover, with Mounting Screws, Black, 9.8 x 3.1 inch / 250 x 80 mm - Geesatis 2 Pcs Door Mesh Air Vent Louvered Ventilation Grille Air Vent for Cabinet Shoe Cabinet Hardware Accessories, with Mounting Screws, Black, 250 x 50 mm / 9.8 x 2 inch - AC Infinity AIRPLATE S5, Quiet Cooling Fan System 8" with Speed Control, for Home Theater AV Cabinets --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/203995475-geesatis-black-aluminum-air-vent-cover-fits-8-5-x](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/203995475-geesatis-black-aluminum-air-vent-cover-fits-8-5-x) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
