It was thick enough to pick up and throw, but thin enough that it flowed through water shooters. It is impressively washable. We had our crew wearing white t-shirts, and after rinsing off with the hose, there was very little color on any of the shirts. After washing the shirts, almost all clear (the pink maybe left a little tint). We will be back for more next year because this stuff was a blast. You will need AT LEAST two 5 gallon buckets for each color if you do the whole packet.
