Review: Sturdy box spring, easy, no tools required, assembly - The rating is for the ease of assembly and the sturdy feel of the assembled box spring. Will update after sleeping on it a while. I will never buy a traditional box spring again (they are a pain to move).
Review: Great alternative to a traditional box spring - Just what I needed! I didn’t want to pay 250 From the local mattress store for a low profile box spring so I decided to give this a try. A great alternative. Seems sturdy and was very easy to put together. Everything snaps in and it’s so intuitive you don’t really need directions. One of the corners was bent up so it gave us some trouble fitting in one piece but my husband was able to take the back of a hammer and straighten it out, otherwise I would have had to get an exchange. I would recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I was advised to get a box spring with good airflow for memory foam mattress... does this one provide good airflow to prevent moisture?**
A: Yes

**Q: Can you attach a headboard to this frame ?**
A: No. The picture show it on a bed frame. There are no legs and without drilling holes into the box springs there is no way to attach it to a headboard.

**Q: Can the legs be left off and used as a traditional box spring?**
A: There are no legs included with this unit. This is just a box spring intended for a 12-14' mattress. The legs in the photos are not part of the package.

**Q: How many inches apart are the metal slates?**
A: They are approximately six inches apart. I say "approximately" because our's is assembled and the frame cover is on (as well as a mattress). So, I reached in and measured with my hand. I remember thinking, when I was assembling it, that there were a lot of slats. Just remember to use something like a rubber mallet when you assemble it. Some reviewers said they couldn't quite fit certain parts and that is because this frame is precise and snug (and therefore it needed a bit of "persuasion" in spots). Once assembled it is very sturdy and we have not had any issues with it. Be advised that if it is placed on a metal bed frame, it will slide (if you are sitting up and leaning against your headboard, for example). We have a hope chest at the foot of our bed and we found that moving it against the frame/mattress was all that was required to prevent this. Of course, I am sure that there are other ways to secure it as well. Hope this helps!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Alternative King Box Spring Option
*by C***J on September 22, 2026*

I purchased a king size! I’ll tell you, this was the best option vs buying two XL twin box springs! The king size fit right into my bed frame with no problem. It was very easy to assemble and feels like it will last for years! My bed feels sturdy and stable.
