Which one to use boils down to many factors. How well it scrapes/cleans, how soft/rough it is and how easy it is to clean. I recommend this brand because it is easy to clean, which is super import with a tongue scraper. It also cleans and scrapes the tongue efficiently and effectively. However, it's not as soft on the tongue as plastic. If your tongue is super sensitive then this may not be the tongue scraper for you. But the upside of a stainless steel tongue scraper, far out ways the downside. Review: Game Changing Tongue Cleaner - This tongue cleaner is a game changer because it's stainless steel, making it more hygenic than the plastic ones. It's durable which, in turn, makes it long lasting. It feels different than the plastic ones do, but that aspect alone makes me feel like it cleans thoroughly. I gave one of the two to my mother and she loves it. I would recommend this product and will be purchasing again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, pleasant sensation, fair hygiene improvement *by J***S on September 6, 2020* Easy to use and clean. Product metal was a little thinner than I expected, but honestly is very durable. Prior to using one of these, I kind of imagined it would be a somewhat unpleasant sensation like scraping a spoon or the edge of my teeth against my tongue, but the edges on this are much more rounded and polished. Think of this more like a squeegee than a "scraper." I wouldn't say I have had the life-changing fresher than fresh or rejuvenated taste buds experience like some others on here, but there is a noticable improvement over cleaning my tongue with my toothbrush alone. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/201519542-tongue-scraper-2-pack-stainless-steel-tongue-cleaner-reduce-bad](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/201519542-tongue-scraper-2-pack-stainless-steel-tongue-cleaner-reduce-bad) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
