Some of the drawers don't line up perfectly so that was disappointing. The drawers do not slide as smoothly as I 'd like and it was completely in pieces when it arrived, so you literally have to build from the ground up. But I guess with IKEA you expect that lol. If this is going to be a heavily used filing cabinet, you may want to look elsewhere and choose a metal one. These are very nice files. It probably is a scam but I’m happy to have the two I have. **Q: What size file folders fit the bottom drawer?** A: The files are vertical and they have holes for adjusting how long of a file you have. **Q: what are the width x height of the bottom drawer?** A: Outside measurements are 14” by 12 1/2 in. Inside, it’s too narrow to hang files the usual way. It holds papers sideways so there is open space either in front or in back of the hanging files.
