For most people, these lenses would probably seem too dark and too green to use as sunglasses, but for me they are AMAZING. As I type this, I'm sitting in a room with big windows and there is sunlight reflecting off the snow outside. Without the glasses on, I can barely keep my eyes open. With the glasses on, I can sit in here comfortably and still see the computer just fine to type. As an added bonus, these look and fit like regular wrap around sunglasses, so I don't feel conspicuous in them. They also have foam on the top edge of the lenses, which really helps keep the light from getting in. They fit well on my face (which is on the wider side) and don't slide down my nose. (For those who need to know: the temple width is 140mm.) The only thing I don't like about them as sunglasses is the green tint, but if I had to, I would happily take 5 times as much green if it meant my eyes get to be as happy as they are in these. Really like these for oxy cutting...not so much driving though (prefer normal sunglasses) as they're really so dark it's difficult to see other than driving directly into the sun. Good shade, have nice padding on the back to give better protection/coverage for the eye.
