## Description

Pharmaceutical Grade Healthy Glandular Function* Supports Mental Alertness* L-Tyrosine is a conditionally indispensable amino acid required for the production of the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline, and noradrenaline, as well as for the skin pigment, melanin.* Noradrenaline (norepinephrine) and adrenaline (epinephrine) are the main actors in the body’s response to acute stress and, along with dopamine, help to support a positive mood and mental alertness.* In addition, L-Tyrosine is especially critical for the normal function of the thyroid gland.* The L-Tyrosine used in this product is pharmaceutical grade. Natural color variation may occur in this product.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: It says that it would take at least 4-6 weeks for this product to really absorb is there anyone still taking this product since 6/2013 and it works.**
A: I've been taking 500 mg L tyrosine for several years at bedtime and it still works perfectly. I don't take any other neurotransmitters with it. I do exercise several days a week at a gym for about 45 minutes for good health and social interaction and I believe it is this combination that keeps me mentally and physically fit. I am 81 yrs old.

**Q: is this vegetarian?**
A: NO. THEY ARE USING A GELATIN CAPSULE.

**Q: I want to see all the ingredients on this formula**
A: L-tyrosine 500mg, other ingredients: gelatin (capsule), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), and steric acid (vegetable source)

**Q: Are these in capsules that can be opened to do small doesage?**
A: My Dad is a pharmacist and he always told me you should never open a capsule. They are designed to dissolve at a certain part of the digestive tract for delivery at the best place for absorption. By removing the granules from the capsule and taking them or putting them in a different capsule you change the delivery.
