They grind easily and the adjustable grind is also a plus.I previously purchased rock salt that came with its own grinder. It was a chore to turn, and let through uneven sized pieces of salt. I poured that salt into this new Stainless grinder. This stainless grinder was amazingly easy to turn and produced an evenly sized smaller grind.
