It's a little too thick for my needs.** A: I have had good results from a small amount of denatured alcohol. **Q: is this the stuff used to mark the engraved sizes on sockets and wrenches ?** A: No, layout fluid is used to temporarily die metal stock so the desired pattern can be marked for cutting/drilling. **Q: Is it safe to use on brass cartridge casings?** A: I believe it is how ever it will stain alminium **Q: Will this gum up fine tooth TC burs or grinding burs?
