Like many of you, I thought it had expired. No. Read the comments and you will see that it is not an expiration date. I used it just as I would use any yeast. It was fine. I had absolutely no issues what-so-ever. It did take a while to get here, but everything was packaged well upon arrival. As I am not a professional baker and have not used a lot of yeasts, I cannot tell you if it is comparable professionally. What I know is that it worked as I needed it to in my great grandmother's saffron roll recipe and that was great for me! The package I received yesterday (May 14th) has a April 2020 date on it and I believe it is manufacture date. Product from China usually put manufacture date instead of expiration date on it. It is also printed in Chinese that it will expire after 24 months.
