My previous swann system was 5 years old and still working fine. I “Upgraded” to this system for the 4k but obviously the quality has gone way down on swann products ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Still Learning )-: *by R***Y on October 13, 2022* I had an older system that worked wonderfully (HD 1080). It lasted nearly 10 years before it stopped recording. I could see everything, for they were still functional, but they recorded nothing. The system was simple and easy to use. Now, I bought this one. Perhaps it is the POE, but the cameras lack a natural flow in real time. The default is setup for detection. It took some time to make them record continuously. Yes, detection only saves hard drive space, but sometimes the detection fails. Nothing is perfect. For the price, I'd rather have my old HD system back, BUT the zoom features on this NEW system is AWESOME. So, would I recommend this? If you have the time, YES.
