A: The faceplate is  4 1/4"L.  Please review the dimensions under the photo at the top left of webpage and compare to your original.

**Q: Can I alter the 8" extension bolt if it is too long?**
A: If you wish to alter this you may, however that will void the warranty.

**Q: Can you get it with a 16" rod**
A: Prime-Line does not have one the length yo are needing.
