## Questions & Answers

**Q: What’s the expiry date on the product? The picture says 28th Oct 2021, which is not really long enough.**
A: Not sure about the picture but the box I got a few weeks ago has BB date of Feb 2023. I would assume photo was taken several years ago, hence the soon to be expiry date.

**Q: What method of decaffenation is used here ? Chemical ? CO2 ? Swiss Water ?  Thank you.**
A: Hi, thanks for the question
We decaffeinate using a low temperature closed loop CO2 process which provides the best roast results. The caffeine in the green beans is removed by the CO2 in a freeze drying chamber under pressure and then the caffeine can be harvested from the CO2 (and used for other manufacturing that needs caffeine as an ingredient). The closed loop CO2 process ensures all of the CO2 used to remove the caffeine is fully contained and not released, it is recycled and reused for further green coffee decaffeination

I love these pods. I can now drink decent coffee whilst protecting the environment. They are also cheaper than most of the leading brands with aluminium pods.

### ⭐ The product has changed and the new design doesn't work in our machine.

I've been buying these pods a long time because the coffee is great and the sustainable angle appeals to us. The new design however fails to seat properly so we need to fiddle to get it in, then when you close the lid the perforations aren't piercing properly so the flow won't come through. We've tried in two machines and have the same issue. Hope this gets fixed as this batch isn't useable.
