I have drawers under all of our beds and the bed wrap covers the whole of the base so when we need to go into the drawers, I just lift the cover up at that side. If you use the base of your bed for storage of bedding etc and not lifting it every day then it might work. If you have to lift your bed every day for things stored underneath then I would probably say no as it might stretch overtime.
