I took it out of the box and put it on my floor jack, and raised my car up enough to get a couple more notches out of the jack stands. Makes muffler work a lot easier to have that extra couple inches. It does come with a light oil coating on it so be sure to wipe it down with a mild solvent (rubbing alcohol, mineral spirits, etc ) The base is indented so make sure it will fit over your floor jacks saddle before buying.
