Review: Would recommend - This was exactly what I needed and wanted. My area's water is not great. I was able to install this myself. I already had the hole needed for the faucet, so that made it easy. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. The unit is a nice size and fits under my sink. I did not plan for the need for an outlet under the sink. I am just using an extension cable until I can get someone out. The unit is well made. Haven't had any issues with leaking. I felt the price (got it during prime sale) was very reasonable. I like that I can take this with me if I move. Overall, I'm impressed and enjoying it. The water tastes great. It doesn't take forever to fill a glass. It also has minimal waste water production. I'd recommend this option.
Review: Great compact RO water system that works in RV - This small R/O system I'd say is the best up grade to our RV I've done. The system has a built in pump that provides great water flow. We traveled for 5 months this year and had great drinking water. If you install this in an RV route the waste water back to the fresh water tank not to the Grey water tank or you will waste a lot of water. The waste water from the RO isn't bad it just has a higher concentration of minerals and other junk that's already in the RV fresh tank. Since your RV fresh water is emptied constantly for other uses it doesnt get overly concentrated with minerals. The Waterdrop G2 really took a beating in our RV this summer and still works great. I figure we processed 300 gallons of drinking water from our on board fresh water storage this summer, and some of our tank water was very questionable and this provided super clean drinking water. Id definitely purchase this again and its easy to install since its all contained in a single unit.

**Q: How is this different than the wd-g3-w?**

Both G2 and G3 are smart under sink water filtration systems using reverse osmosis technology. Designed for easy installation, both of the models are tankless with the integrated waterway and composite filters. The water flow for G2 and G3 are both 400 GPD, 0.28GPM with the 1:1 drain water ratio.
The G2 model is an economical option compared with G3 in terms of water filtration performance. Here’s some major difference between the two models, which I will elaborate for you from several aspects.
●Filters: G2 has two composite filters with 5-stage filtration; G3 contains three composite filters with 7-stage filtration.
●Filter life:
○G2: one year CF filter, two years RO filter
○G3: six months CF filter, one year CB filter, two years RO filter
●RO faucet:
○G2: no need to plug in the faucet.
○G3: Cable smart faucet with filter life indicator, the faucet has a light loop to indicate filter life in different colors.

**Q: I plan to add an inline remineralizer between the unit and faucet dispenser. Is the tubing 1/4 or 3/8 inches?**
A: Hello,

Thanks for your interest in our Waterdrop WD-G2-B Reverse Osmosis System.
In theory, you can add an inline remineralize filter between the RO system and the faucet dispenser. But if you do that, there may be some risks that will have a negative impact on the RO system. 
Please note the following points when adding an inline remineralize filter:
1. The size of RO filtered water tubing is 1/4", please confirm whether the size of the inline remineralize filter's will match.
2. With the increase of the pH, the filter material will generate more gas which is easy to cause the pressure inside the tube rises, and the following situation arises.
a. if the housing material of the remineralize filter you use is not solid enough, it is easy to explode with the high pressure. 
b. if the gas can not discharge in time, the pressure inside the tube becomes higher, the pressure may reversely entry into the RO system, which causes serious damage to the RO system and affects the normal use of the system. 
c. when you open the faucet, it can not dispense water immediately. Because it has to bleed out the gas inside the tube first.

**Q: Is this unit remove fluoride from the water?**

Thanks for your interest in our Waterdrop WD-G2-B Reverse Osmosis System.
Our RO system uses reverse osmosis filtration technology with 8 layers of MRO membranes with a pore size of 0.0001um, the system can remove most contaminants including up to 90% of fluoride in water.

**Q: Would this system filter sodium out of my well water?**
A: Hi,
Thanks for your interest in our Waterdrop G2 RO System.
Yes, as a benefit of the RO membrane (filtration accuracy: 0.0001μm), this product is able to remove the sodium from the source water.

However, compared to municipal tap water, the well water is rich of large particles, which will clog the CF & RO filter easily, and shorten their lifetime significantly.

Therefore, it's recommended to add a pre-filteration system before the RO system, in order to prolong the filters' lifetime.

In addition, the well water may not be able to provide the feed water pressure that the RO system needs. Furthermore, the water pressure will be even lower after the pre-filtration systems.

So it's recommended to confirm that your feed water pressure meets the RO system's requirement, which is 14.5-87 psi.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much easier to install and change filters.

I am impressed with the Waterdrop osmosis system. I have replaced several of the older multistage systems over the years for various failures so I decided to try the Waterdrop. There are some significant benefits of the water drop system: 1. Much simpler installation - especially if you are replacing and older osmosis. 2. Takes up less space - this is an on-demand system so no storage tank. This means more room under your sink 3. BIGGEST reason: much easier to replace filters. Although I'm not crazy about a single source of replacement filters, the cost is the same as traditional osmosis filter replacements BUT WAY EASIER. Just twist to remove and replace the filters. There are also indicator lights to tell you when its time to replace them. Finally, my family agrees that this water tastes great - better than the only system I replaced. So its a win.
