Review: GAME CHANGER for keeping our refrigerator orderly. - I was hesitant at first to try these (better said, my wife was!) due to the disolvability in a dishwasher. However, in practice, they do disolve well. We have seen no issues with our primary and secondary filters for the dishwasher. There is no sign of adheasive left after even the quick dishwasher cycles. Enough space for us to use a fine tipped permanent marker or pen to write our own descriptive info on them (we don't use all of their suggested info descriptions). It makes it easy to identify older or expiring items - or send out a clear warning that this leftover is NOT for sharing! I LOVE the dispensing box - it helps keep my cupboard looking well maintained.
Review: Dissolves in water - Labels well, dissolves with water, easy to use, adhesive is good, white nice clean appearance, great product

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the label made of?**
A: They are made of magic! Just kidding, the only statement I could find is that they are made of high quality water soluble materials. As I understand it these are typically wood cellulose. These particular labels work great and dissolve easily in water.

**Q: Does anyone know if these are safe for a septic system? Thanks.**
A: They would be safe for a septic system - they dissolve pretty quick, BUT they are not good labels! The do not stick to your jars for long. They peel and fall off. I will never buy them again.

**Q: Are these labels made in china? the seller says "crafting...in the usa" which is different from "made in the usa".**
A: Don't bother - very little adhesive on the back and does not stick!!!!

**Q: What is the best permanent marker that last on this item and works consistently in cold weather?**
A: Any "permanent" marker should work but these labels dissolve easily when wet, so permanence is not what I would worry about. If you want something that lasts through any wet weather, this would not be a good choice and since cold implies wet as the weather warms, I'd guess this is not what your need.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dissolvable Food Labels
*by M***Y on March 25, 2026*

These worked so much better than I was expecting! It washes off right in water and if you use a sponge to scrub a little depending on how long the label was on the container for. This has helped with meal prepping and organizing things so I don't forget. I like to use my glass Tupperware so these work great with them.
