I simply cannot fault it at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Microwave Sandwich Maker *by P***N on 19 July 2026* I've only given this 4 * because it doesn't say that when you butter the bread the buttered side goes face down on the bottom and face up on the top, this is what browns it and you need a lot of butter. It's pretty obvious because with all the old type ones you had to do the same, but if you are a young person, you may not realise this. If you just have the unbuttered slice of bread on the top and the same on the bottom it won't brown. It's pretty good though, but very hot so be careful when you take it out of the microwave. When you put it in the dishwasher take the plastic off of the cooking plates, so you have 4 pieces and not 2. I reckon it's ok and worth the money. A nice, inexpensive, gift for friends too. The only thing I would say, is that when you put the microwave plates into the plastic top and bottoms, I had 2 broken nails as it was extremely difficult. One end is obviously fine, but the other not easy at all, but still a good buy as you can see below. I've just added this bit. Edited 20th July 2026 - Ordered another one for a present and it was delivered early this morning, so delivery is excellent. I wish they would do this one in another colour too. Edited 24th July 2026 - Changed my mind completely on this now. Did one for lunch with cheese and tomato. On the picture, on the box, it shows the top way off the sandwich with lots of filling in which is what I did. Well, the microwave was covered as was the glass dish and I burnt myself getting it out and the filling was all over the toastie. What a blooming mess. Also, I did exactly what the instructions said and it was just like a hot sandwich, even less browning than previously with the same timing etc. As said previously, the problem is getting the plates in and out of the rubber. Too much effort. I'm going to get a plug in one which I had for years. Nothing overflows and it's virtually clean and a lovely brown crisp toastie, unlike this one. Shame I bought another one for a gift.
