The battery life is real low. Sometimes in the middle of a call, even after a day or two of charging. Cannot use it for the intercom.After a few weeks of use, it fell off my hand ...the battery compartment opened up, and the inner part of it came off.Called the distributor. I also explained my problems with the phone to them. Very nice and professional people. They charged about $150 (??) and changed my phone.The phone came. This time, it was pretty easy to open the battery compartment. Again, the battery life is really low. Can not get to intercom. If someone else calls while I am on the phone, i do not hear the call waiting tone.In general, I like Jasper Morrison's deigns, and this phone is beautiful but probably better for a kid's playroom than a home office.Not worth wasting time on it anymore.
