These shorts continue the theme of gay crushes among teenagers; one is outstanding, the opening Lek and the Waterboy, beautifully eliding fantasy with the banal but visually interesting comings and goings in a convenience store in what is probably Thailand. The editing here is very good, as is the use of music, a Chopin Etude just lifting it into another realm for brief intervals as the main character imagines a sexy biker pouring water over his naked torso. It's a bit like the American short Kissing Drew. Three more certainly hold the interest, with quite an interesting transgender theme and a genie in a bottle in The Game, which has some of the most beautiful faces. In fact all of them are strong on that count, but sometimes they come a bit too close to being content-free, with very little depth to the stories or even plausibility, but just an idea, really. App was free, but I had to write it to DVD after conve we ting it so I could play on my not so smart TV... I enjoyed mist of the movies, but not all.
