Review: Reliable Water Pressure Protection for Any RV Setup - I’ve used a few different water pressure regulators over the years, and this RVGUARD regulator has honestly been one of the best so far. The build quality feels solid and durable right out of the box — definitely not cheap plastic. It was easy to hook up, and I really like having the adjustable pressure feature with the gauge so I can see exactly what the water pressure is at the campground. After installing it, my water flow inside the camper stayed strong and consistent while still protecting the RV plumbing from high pressure. No leaks, no issues, and the brass construction gives me confidence it’ll last a long time. The included inlet screen is also a nice touch for keeping debris out of the system. Overall, this is a great investment for any RV owner wanting peace of mind and reliable water pressure control. Works exactly as advertised and I’d absolutely recommend it to fellow campers.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this unit able to increase the water pressure above the input pressure?**
A: This regulator is for reducing the higher pressure. You can't adjust the water pressure above the pressure of the water source.

**Q: The needle doesn’t move when I turn on the water. What can I do?**
A: If the pressure gauge is stuck and needle doesn't go back to 0 even when regulator is not installed. Take the gauge off and re-screw it on. Then try the regulator again. If the regulator still fails to work, tell us for replacement.

**Q: What pressure is it recommended to set it at?**
A: The correct water pressure for an RV can vary depending on the model and the condition of your RV's plumbing system. Most RV experts recommend you never let the water pressure exceed 60 psi. Somewhere around 40 to 50 psi is ideal for many RVs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works better than just a regular regulator since you can see the pressure
*by S***S on August 4, 2026*

Works great, just don't forget to bring it in from the RV when you winterize as it does not like freezing temperatures. And don't forget to remove it from the water faucet when take off your hose as I have done.
