Instructions were okay. Luckily, he's super handy, so he was able to breeze through installation. I bought an old '70s credenza at an online auction, sight unseen, except for the two pics I included here. I didn't know what I was going to do with it, but for $5, I couldn't pass it up. It was huge and weighed about 300 pounds. No joke. My son saw it and begged his step-dad to make him a farmhouse-inspired entertainment cabinet / TV stand. So he did. We used old weathered fence pickets, that our neighbors gave us for free, for the top and shelves on the inside. He attached a frame around the top, because the edge was beveled and he had to cut the beveled lip off. It made it look unclean and ragged, so he made a frame and then laid the angled pickets inside the frame for the herringbone pattern. I recycled the discarded drawers into a set of nightstands and two hanging shelves.
