We wanted another Waring so the cost was worth the splurge to us to have a quality product. It is in no way worth it to buy! The highest heat setting barely gets the waffle golden brown, you have to do it over and over. The beeping to signify it’s to temp doesn’t ever stop beeping like it’s supposed to. Unfortunately we didn’t try the machine out when we initially got it so by the time we did, the return window was closed. Definitely do NOT recommend this machine.
