My son doesn't like the taste of water out of metal bottles so I was looking for something plastic but still insulated and found these. They keep his water cold at school all day and the mist is a bonus in gym, recess when he's hot! Review: Perfect Product, Major Durability Issues - Life Changing! If you have kids and don’t already know about these, then welcome to one of the greatest products ever. DISCLAIMER - I have not received any compensation for this review from desertcart or anyone else. It is completely unbiased. I’ll keep this one short and sweet. THE GOOD : 10/10 The product itself is incredible. My kids (12 and 10 girls) prefer these over all Other water bottles. the price point is fantastic at around 10.00. Size and ergonomics of the bottle are perfect. Your child will have enough water to make it through the day, and the bottle fits in the side of the side pocket of a backpack perfectly. The mouth opening is big enough for any standard automatic ice maker. THE BAD: 3/10 Durability - Unfortunately these just don't hold up. I’d say I have owned 20’of these bottles in total. Maybe 10 of them have made it to the 6 month mark. Many have broken within a week. By “breaking,” I mean that the spray pump part goes limp and no longer works. However, it can still be used as a water bottle, and is a good water bottle for the price. Just be ready for you le kids to be really disappointed, since the key feature for them is the super cool mist effect. Overall - 7/10 The 5/0 Star Problem - Its a shame that there is no way to give two different star ratings. I know this is the most efficient system, but sometimes it’s hard to decide how to rate a product when there are so many different aspects to it. My recommendation, as always on desertcart, is to do the following: 1. Search a product you need or want either on desertcart or google. I usually Google “best .......” and then go to desertcart and start my search by entering the name of one of the top rated products. I go to desertcart vs other websites because I know I will find the best price, and I will get free shipping, and the product will arrive very quickly. In addition, returns are so easy. 2. Look for the products with a combination of the highest number of reviews (under the stars) and look for 4 to 4.5 overall star rating at minimum. 3. always scroll to the bottom and check for the best seller and highest rated. I highly recommend this product, as long as you go in knowing that it has durability issues. - Josh Zinn IG “@olsluggy” ## Features - 2-IN-1 FUNCTION : Our Mist 'N Sip squeeze water bottles have a misting function to cool you down while you drink. The mister will function when the trigger is pressed down. It will not continuously run if pressed and held down. It will require you to continuously press down the trigger to mist. **Q: Can it hold hot water???** A: It doesn’t say not to add hot water but I wouldn’t recommend. It’s not a heavy duty insulation to withstand hot water. **Q: Will this fit in a bicycle bottle cage?** A: Thanks for your question. Yes it will depending on the size of your cage. This bottle is a standard size of 20 ounces. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome bottles! *by S***H on September 29, 2026* My kids love these bottles. I fill it with mostly ice and a bit of water and it stays cold and refreshing when I need a drink. The mister is a nice addition, but it’s only a short blast of mist, not a constant spray. You have to keep pumping the button for more mist. All in all I am very happy with this purchase! ## Frequently Bought Together - O2COOL Mist 'N Sip Misting Water Bottle 2-in-1 Mist And Sip Function With No Leak Pull Top Spout Reusable Sports Water Bottle - 20 oz (Palm Leaf) - O2COOL Mist 'N Sip Misting Water Bottle 2-in-1 Mist And Sip Function With No Leak Pull Top Spout Reusable Sports Water Bottle - 20 oz (Pink Palm Tree) - O2COOL ArcticSqueeze Insulated Mist 'N Sip Squeeze Bottle 20 oz., Blue/Blue Splash --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/181584383-o2cool-mist-n-sip-20-oz-misting-reusable-sports-water](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/181584383-o2cool-mist-n-sip-20-oz-misting-reusable-sports-water) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
