    I would like to have it working again but do not know ...

I purchased a Presto 06300 dehydrator several months ago but did not use it as I had to go overseas. I opened it yesterday and loaded it with some vegetables and switched it on. The light came on and it started heating. A few minutes later it cut out and refused to restart. The light on the panel does not come on. I would like to have it working again but do not know whom to contact. I am not sure whether Amazon will take it back as it has been several months since I purchased the machine.

Actually this item made for US. 120-130 volts used in the US whereas in India 230-240 volts is used. So your dehydrator damaged due to over voltage. The same thing was happened to me.

It works but for the price I wish I spent a little more and went with another/better unit.Pros:It does as it statesCons:No power switch, just a power cord to plug in for on, and unplug for off. Really, in todays day and age?No temperature adjustment, straight 160 degree temps.Non-expandable as there are no options out there for additional trays for THIS PARTICULAR unit. Old model/outdated???Save yourself the trouble, spend a little more, and if you really want a Presto branded dehydrator, AVOID the 00600 model (this one) and go for the 00601 which has all the additional features I mentioned this unit lacks. Or go with another brand entirely if you're in this price range
