When I first tried them on, they seemed quite loose at the back of my heel. Trying to walk had my heel flapping in and out of the shoe. It's not a full shoe size bigger, so I couldn't re-order a 13.They do provide you some cushion pads with the shoes, which is a great touch. I was eventually able to use those pads to adjust the shoes so they don't flop off. They are still a bit too big, but In a workable size range now. I do like them, but I suddenly remembered how many years it's been since I owned a pair of platforms... 8-/Overall, they are beautiful and look great on my feet. These are the double platform, about 1.75" high. The body of the shoe and the bottom platform are gloss black, but the middle platform (about 1/2" directly under your toes) is racecar red!I will need a lot of practice in them before I stop walking like Frankenstein with them on...Their customer service was top notch. I opened a claim, and they emailed back within a couple hours. They offered a free replacement pair, even if I wanted a different color - or a refund of my money. I chose the refund, and they said I should keep the shoes as it was expensive to ship them back.I think I will practice walking a bit, until I can master the platforms and look graceful while doing it.
