I’ve tried the zippered ones, and they’re good for an extra layer of protection. But this one is easy to remove and wash with the sheets. Although, drying is kind of a pain. It bunches up in the dryer so I try to dry it individually. No crinkly noise like the old school mattress protectors. Fits great Review: Great Fit, Waterproof, and Comfortable—Exactly What I Was Looking For - I bought this mattress protector to replace the one I had been using for several years. It was almost identical, but after years of use, the waterproof backing had started to wear out, so it was time for a replacement. I'm very happy with this one. One of the things I like most is how flexible the fitted skirt is. It stretches easily around the corners of the mattress and stays securely in place without constantly slipping off. The bottom features a waterproof vinyl backing that effectively protects the mattress from spills and accidents, while the top has a soft, cotton-like terry fabric that feels comfortable to sleep on. It does an excellent job preventing liquids from reaching the mattress. Keep in mind, however, that while the mattress stays protected, the top fabric itself can still stain, so it's best to wash it when needed. I've found that washing it in cold water helps preserve the waterproof vinyl backing and keeps it in good condition for a long time. Overall, it's comfortable, fits well, offers excellent protection, and has been a great replacement for my previous mattress protector. I would definitely buy it again. ## Features - 100% Polyester - Mattress Protector - Fits Twin size mattress perfectly with dimensions 39 inches by 75 inches by 15 inches, featuring professionally turned hems and deep fitted pockets - Comfort Surface: Soft blended surface is extra absorbent, cozy and breathable.
