Over the past month, I have started collecting these beauties for my soon-to-be 5-year-old daughter and out of the 20 or so that I bought, this egg is definitely among my top 5. The colors are rich, and it has a good weight to it; quite solid. All of the rhinestones were intact and really add that extra special touch to it. The tone of the gold is just right. It's not that bright yellow, plastic-looking gold finish nor one that is too close to the appearance of aged brass. Oh, and the price is fantastic! I paid more than twice the cost of this egg for some others that were more than an inch shorter. So I really feel like I got a great deal on a decent-sized egg. In about 2 1/2 weeks, my daughter will receive this lovely Fabergé-style egg and all of the other wonderfully regal decorative items that will furnish her new "Princess Palace" bedroom.
