I normally wear a 12 but ordered a 14 due to the reviews. I am glad I did as the 14 fits perfectly. They do have an adjustable waist but if you want the pleats to not look stretched out when you wear them, order a size up and adjust the waist in as needed. The are a good looking straight leg pant (not really tapered like the pic) but will need hemming as they are unfinished. This is great for taller girls as the length is very long.
