Review: This slinky works - As a kid I was never fussed about slinkys. Occasionally I would get a plastic one from someone but I never seemed to be able to get it to go downstairs. Now my son wanted a slinky and we bought this. I'm delighted to say it does go down stairs and so something I've waited 30+ years has now finally happened. So with that in mind I'd say it's a lot of fun, it's built well and is functional as the main purpose of a slinky. Decent weight to in and doesn't feel flimsy or likely to straighten if stretched.

As a kid I was never fussed about slinkys. Occasionally I would get a plastic one from someone but I never seemed to be able to get it to go downstairs. Now my son wanted a slinky and we bought this. I'm delighted to say it does go down stairs and so something I've waited 30+ years has now finally happened. So with that in mind I'd say it's a lot of fun, it's built well and is functional as the main purpose of a slinky. Decent weight to in and doesn't feel flimsy or likely to straighten if stretched.
